Hi Mike, I sort of stumbled across your web site, as you do. Your art was always very individual and original at uni, it hasn't changed. Really enjoyed looking at your work.. Take care, Anthea

Dear Joanna,
I made this painting as a responce initially after hearing Andrew Sachs being interviewed in London Zoo and a subsuquent visit there myself with the artist Alli Sharma. We are working towards an exhibition hopefully in 2011. I loved London Zoo on my one visitas a child and on my return as an adult found a very different place-probably fuelded by my distaste for caged animals. I am trying to work the images into a life they don't have I suppose. I am glad you like this painting too.

Folie à deux (literally, "a madness shared by two") is a rare psychiatric syndrome in which a symptom of psychosis (particularly a paranoid or delusional belief) is transmitted from one individual to another. The same syndrome shared by more than two people may be called folie à trois, folie à quatre, folie à famille or even folie à plusieurs (madness of many).

Hello Mike, Some fabulous work on your website that I have not seen before that are so enjoyable - thank you. Well done and see you soon. Love Denise x
Dear Mike,
looking at your paintings made me think of how anonymous and expression-less people are while viewing artworks. Infact the moment of spectator's mind being captured by artwork is what I am most interested in. While you are painting in the studio, your other painting may be seen at the gallery and how long is the bridge between you and them?
I also also wonder in what order have you place the images? The journey you are taking me on 'starts indoor, then pops out, focus on portrait and back indoor again'.
Many questions, praps I have to go and see you paintings a live.
Well done
Helena
